Bid for Kids 2022

At Holy Family Catholic School (HFCS), we believe that learning is enhanced by hands-on collaborative experiences. We are constantly looking for new ways to educate our students and believe that experiential learning can promote a student’s connection with course materials and can heighten motivation to learn. It is for this reason that we have dedicated 2022’s Bid for Kids to growing our outdoor space. With the money raise we hope to promote hands-on learning by way of gardens which our teachers will weave in with our standard curriculum. In addition to this, we hope to be able to provide outdoor classroom space as research has shown that the ability to take a classroom outdoors can promote better attention and reduce stress for students. This is just a starting point for HFCS, over several years we hope to continue to grow our outdoor space into an area that is unrivaled.
