Dessert Dash: A Holy Family Dinner Dance tradition! This occurs right after dinner.  When you arrive at your table, you will find an envelope that your entire table can use to pool money together for the dessert of your dreams.  The table who collects the most money gets to pick their dessert first, second highest will go second, so on and so forth.  You can either put cash in the envelop or provide your bid number and the amount of the donation.  Regardless of donation method, please use the card in the box to note how much you are donating and method of payment. There are enough desserts for every table, but you might not get the dessert you want. Please note, it is one dessert to share amongst the table.  If you are feeling extra brave, you can even nominate yourself to be the dessert runner for the table!  If you choose to do this, maybe avoid the shots until after dessert!

Silent Auction: All bidding is done online via hfcsil1708.ggo.bid. The silent auction closes at 10:00PM.  You can pick up your purchase(s) at HFCS starting Tuesday Feb. 6th or arrange to have them delivered to you.

Live auction: This will occur promptly after dessert.  We have 10 items to auction off.  You can peruse these items on the Greater Giving website but all bidding will be done by raising a paddle high to the sky the night of the DDA.  Items will be available for pickup at HFCS starting on Tuesday Feb. 6th.

Non-alcoholic drinks: Coffee, tea and water are included with your ticket.

Alcoholic drinks/signature mocktail:  CCD has a fully stocked cash bar on site.  Don’t know what to drink? Check out our signature cocktail or Mocktail!  A portion of these proceeds will come back to the school and who doesn’t love enjoying a cocktail/mocktail for a good cause.  What is the signature cocktail/mocktail this year?

The Dirty Shirley! It's a spiked Shirley Temple. We will also have the good ole' fashioned non-alcoholic Shirley Temples too if that is more your speed.

Music:  We have none other than U of I's home game house DJ, TAT, providing the music for the evening.  Dancing is a great way to burn some calories. Plus, studies have shown that dancing might just help those who "over indulge" while living their best lives not feel as "over indulged" the day after. Bonus!

Bid for kids:  Have you seen our bathrooms? I mean, do I really need to say more?

Last call: 10:45PM

Check out:  if your credit card is on file, you are done! You will automatically receive a receipt of your winnings via email within the next week.

Use your head: Please don't put yourself or others at risk by drinking and driving. If you need a ride, say something!

Any questions the night of the event: Just ask!  We are here to help!

As always, we thank you for your generosity and commitment to Holy Family Catholic School!
